The Toronto Dance Foundation is grateful to be working on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, the Wendat and other nations recorded and unrecorded who we acknowledge as the traditional caretakers of this land. Toronto today is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis people including many residential school survivors and families that have been impacted by the policies of the residential school system. Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed by the Mississaugas of the Credit.
